Robin Scat

Robins are medium-sized birds that spend most of their time on the ground. They eat insects and worms. Scats are usually found beneath perches, such as tree limbs and fence posts. The penny in this photo is 3/4 inch in diameter. That will give you some idea of the size of robin scat. Many bird scats have a white nitrogen deposit in them.
